Position: Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician

Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician

Full-time, Hourly

Frontier Electric is currently looking to add to its team of dedicated individuals with a full-time Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician position.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and servicing of various low voltage systems for new construction and existing system applications.
  • Read and understand construction drawings, plans, wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions.
  • Communicate with site superintendents, AHJ’s, and trade foreman to identify and resolve code or installation issues within a project.
  • Inspection of fire alarm systems and interfacing equipment as per NFPA 72 requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel if needed
  • LEA and WA06 electrical licensed preferred or have a plan in place to reciprocate.
  • Have or working towards obtaining a NICET level 2 certification for fire alarm systems (required in WA state)
  • Be able to pass drug test
  • Lift at least 75 pounds
  • Must be capable of safely working on all types ladders or other lifting equipment, crawlspaces, attics, underground vaults, ect..

Position: Material Handler

Material Handler Job Description

Full-time, Hourly

Frontier Electric is currently looking to add to its team of dedicated individuals with a full-time Material Handler position. The position is preparatory to the Frontier Electric Apprenticeship and Training Program. It provides opportunity to become familiar with parts, tools and equipment of the electrical trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse
    • Assist the warehouse manager to organize parts, tools and equipment.
  • Delivery
    • Deliver parts, tools and equipment to worksites.
    • Communicate with journeymen on what was delivered and where it was placed.
  • Worksite
    • Assist journeymen and apprentices:
      • Deliver parts from site storage to workstations
      • Clean workstations for the safety of the journeymen and apprentices before and after working in the area.
      • Take direction from journeymen and apprentices in any other ways that may be needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to worksites as needed
  • Be able to pass drug test
  • Lift at least 50 pounds
